Past Clinics

Hill Haven regularly host visiting international level riders and trainers for one and multi-day clinics. Our most recent clinic in September 2018 was hosted by acclaimed dressage trainer Rien van der Schaft, formerly the coach of the Dutch Dressage Team.

Rien van der Schaft Clinic (September 2018)

Hill Haven hosted Rien van der Schaft and 14 clinicians and auditors for a 2-day clinic in September. The indoor arena provided students a consistent environment to learn and enough space for the auditors to hear Rien. A BBQ lunch was provided daily.

Kim Kirton Clinic (November 2018)

Hill Haven hosted Kim Kirton for an informal jumping clinic geared towards young horses. Kim’s positive attitude and encouragement left students (riders and horses!) with increased confidence and tips they can work on to develop their young horses at home.
